Five Charged with Deceiving Bachat Gat Members of Rs 62.91 Lakh in Nan
Nagpur, India- The Nandanvan Police registered a case against five individuals, including three women, for allegedly deceiving multiple investors out of Rs 62.91 lakh. The accused purportedly lured investors, including members of a local Bachat Gat, into investing in a cloth manufacturing company based in Kolhapur, promising lucrative returns.
Identified as Shweta Moreshwar Nimje (27), Kavita Hiresh Kavade (40), Kanchan Moreshwar Nimje (32), Siddhardh Chandrakant Thabare (35), and Hiresh Kavde (42), all residents of Nandanvan, the accused allegedly exploited their relationship with the investors to secure the funds. Yogesh Narendra Pasine (35) and his wife Priyanka, residents of Nandanvan, filed the complaint after the accused failed to deliver on their promises, leaving investors in financial distress.
The case has been registered under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC. Police investigations are ongoing to apprehend the accused and further probe the matter.
