With good cause, breakfast is frequently praised as the most significant meal of the day. Your body is prepped and prepared for its first meal after a lengthy overnight fast. The problem is that your morning meal can either prepare you for a productive day or one filled with sugar crashes if you don't choose wisely.

Even though the majority of us who were following the intermittent fasting fad have already realized how harmful it is to our health, it is still harmful to begin your day with the wrong foods. 

1. Croissant- Although a buttery croissant and sweet jam or berry compote seem like the ideal way to start the day, it must be acknowledged that this combination is entirely fashion-driven and lacks any real substance. 

2. Coffee- Since everyone has hectic days, it's perfectly normal to occasionally skip breakfast. A basic black coffee in the morning to get you through until lunch, however, is inflicting far more damage to your body than you may realize. A black coffee doesn't include any vital nutrients, but it is low in calories and provides that much-needed energy boost.

3. Sugar Cereals-Don't let the buzz fool you. Many cereals, which are high in sugar, processed carbohydrates, and artificial coloring, are really desserts masquerading as breakfast. 

4. Juices- You may believe that a packed fruit smoothie or a glass of orange juice is a healthy way to start the day, but the reality is that these beverages are loaded with sugar. 

5. Processed meat- Despite being morning classics, bacon and sausages are not at all healthful. When consumed regularly, especially in the early hours of the morning, these processed meats, which are high in saturated fats and packed with preservatives, can raise your risk of heart disease and other health problems.
