Four Men Held for Attacking Teen, Stealing Cash in Imamwada
Nagpur, India: Four men have been arrested for attacking and robbing an 18-year-old near Dalit Library in Imamwada early on Wednesday, February 26.
The victim, Kartik Parag Ubale, was standing near his house when the accused, Nayan Choure, Akshay Meshram, Devansh alias Hari Ingle, and Vikram Divekar, approached him. They started abusing him and demanded money. When Kartik refused, they beat him up.
During the fight, Akshay Meshram attacked Kartik with a knife. Kartik tried to protect himself and got injured on his hand. The accused then took ₹500 from his pocket and ran away.
After a complaint from Nikhil Suresh Ubale, the Imamwada police registered a case under the BNS Act, Arms Act, and Maharashtra Police Act. The police arrested all four accused and seized the knife used in the crime. Further investigation is ongoing.
