Ganeshpeth Police Arrest Drug Dealer with 12.67 Grams of M.D. Powder in Nagpur
Nagpur, India: Ganeshpeth Police arrested a 25-year-old man on 23rd January 2025 for carrying illegal M.D. powder, a dangerous drug. The police acted on reliable information and set up a trap to catch him.
The man, identified as Roshan Sheikh Wahid Sheikh from Vinoba Nagar, was found near a red Activa scooter in the Ganeshpeth area. When searched, the police discovered 12.67 grams of M.D. powder with him. They also seized two mobile phones, a knife, and the scooter, with a total value of about ₹1,77,200.
Roshan was planning to sell the drug for money. The police have charged him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Arms Act.
The arrest was made under the guidance of Senior Police Commissioner Ravindra Kumar Singh and other senior officers. The investigation is still ongoing.
