Gangster Aman Sahu Killed in Police Encounter in Jharkhand’s Palamu
Palamu: Notorious gangster Aman Sahu, who was accused in over 150 criminal cases, was killed in a police encounter in Jharkhand’s Palamu district. The incident occurred while police were transporting him from Raipur jail when his gang attempted to rescue him, resulting in a shootout.
According to police officials, Sahu’s gang launched an attack on the police convoy, trying to free him. However, security forces retaliated, leading to an exchange of fire in which Aman Sao was fatally shot. Several gang members managed to escape, and police have launched a manhunt to track them down.
Aman Sahu was a wanted criminal involved in numerous cases of murder, extortion, and robbery across Jharkhand and neighbouring states. His death marks a significant victory for law enforcement in the region.
Authorities have tightened security in the area, and further investigations are underway to identify and arrest the remaining gang members.
