Gold Ornaments Worth ₹1.75 Lakh Stolen from Locked House in Nagpur
Nagpur: A house in Samrat Ashok Nagar, Kalamna, was targeted by burglars while the owners were away attending a wedding in Uttar Pradesh. The thieves broke into the house and stole gold ornaments worth ₹1.75 lakh.
The incident took place after Sanjay Sahu and his family left for Chitrakoot, UP, on 11th February to attend a relative’s wedding. Taking advantage of the empty house, the burglars broke the latch, entered the house, and stole valuables from an almirah.
Kalamna police have registered a case of theft and launched an investigation to trace the culprits.
