The process begins with itching on the scalp, followed by hair shedding in large amounts. By the third day, the hair completely falls out, causing widespread fear among the residents.
In the last few days, hundreds of people in all three villages have experienced hair loss, with a significant number of women affected. Despite this, the health department remains unaware of the situation.
Citizens are seeking private treatment. While doctors suggest that such incidents could be caused by shampoo, the hair of individuals who have never used shampoo is also falling out, further alarming the residents.
