Heavy Rains to Hit Vidarbha This Week, Says IMD
Vidarbha, MH - After a short break, heavy rains are expected in Vidarbha starting today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says the Southwest Monsoon will bring thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds over the next five days.
Rainfall predictions include isolated heavy showers on June 24, 27, and 28. Yesterday, Amravati recorded 40.2 mm of rain, the highest in the region. Despite cloudy skies, Bhandara and Nagpur remained dry.
Maximum temperatures across Vidarbha stayed below 37°C, while minimum temperatures were below 25°C.
