In the 3rd Test match against New Zealand, England wins the toss
In Saturday's third and final Test match against New Zealand in Hamilton, England captain Ben Stokes chose to bowl in the warm weather after winning the toss.
With decisive victories in Christchurch and Wellington, the tourists secured their first series win on New Zealand soil since 2008 and are now aiming for a perfect sweep. The second Test in Wellington saw New Zealand lose by 323 runs, their biggest loss by runs at home, and they made two changes to their team.
The four-pronged seam assault used thus far in the series has been broken up with the recall of spinner Mitchell Santner in lieu of all-rounder Nathan Smith.
It will be Santner's first outing since he secured a series victory in October by taking a career-high 13 wickets in the second Test triumph over India in Pune.
Will Young, the opening batsman, was recalled in lieu of Devon Conway as the second alteration announced on Friday. Seamer Matthew Potts will replace Chris Woakes in England's XI, which was announced on Friday. This will be his tenth Test match.
