Inauguration of Cotton Market Metro Station Enhances Commuting Ease for Nagpurites During Ganesh Chaturthi

In preparation for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the city of Nagpur receives a significant public transportation boost as the Cotton Market Metro Station is set to open its doors to citizens. This inauguration, coinciding with the auspicious day of Mahalakshmi installation, promises to enhance the convenience of commuting for Nagpur residents.
From September 21, 2023, onwards, the Cotton Market Metro Station will become accessible to commuters. This development follows the issuance of the certification by the Railway Safety Commissioner, allowing passenger services to commence.
With this addition, the Nagpur Metro now boasts 37 operational stations, including 17 stations on the Orange Line and 20 stations on the Aqua Line. This comprehensive network significantly improves metro connectivity for the city's residents.
The Cotton Market Metro Station is strategically located amidst a bustling area, adjacent to the vegetable market, the railway station, a shopping mall, and various government offices. This prime positioning ensures that a substantial population residing nearby can now enjoy efficient and time-saving metro travel.
