India wins 2025 ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup defeating South Africa
Once again, the India U-19 women's cricket team has succeeded! In Malaysia, the blue-clad girls successfully defended their championship in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) under-19 Women's T20 World Cup.
Their confidence and resolve were clear from the beginning, and it culminated in the final when they defeated South Africa by nine wickets to win the trophy in spectacular fashion.
Now that he is at home, Niki Prasad, the team's captain, considers what enabled this triumph. "We should go out there and dominate," I told the players before the final. "For me, the biggest lesson is — no matter who you play for, always give your 100%," Prasad adds, sharing the inspirational lesson she and her teammates learned along the way.

Left-arm spinner Parunika Sisodia, who finished as the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 10 wickets, completely agrees: "Girls, never listen to what others have to say! The world will be forced to acknowledge your spirit and resolve if you believe in yourself.
