Indian Army Demonstrates Joint Combat Skills in ‘Ex Prachand Prahaar’ in Arunachal

Arunachal Pradesh: The Indian Army carried out a major war exercise called Ex Prachand Prahaar in Arunachal Pradesh from 25 to 27 March 2025. The exercise involved the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and other defence forces working together to practise modern warfare techniques.
The drill, conducted by the Eastern Command, showed how the army can use advanced technology like drones, helicopters, long-range rockets, and space-based systems to keep a close watch on targets and respond quickly. Once targets were identified, they were destroyed using fighter jets, swarm drones, kamikaze drones, and artillery, all in conditions similar to real battle situations.
Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari, head of the Eastern Command, and Air Marshal Surat Singh, head of the Eastern Air Command, reviewed the exercise and praised the troops for their excellent performance.
This exercise followed Exercise Poorvi Prahar conducted in November 2024, which focused on using aviation assets. Ex Prachand Prahaar went a step further by combining surveillance, command, and precise firepower from all three forces.
The successful completion of this exercise shows that the Indian Armed Forces are prepared to face any future threats and are ready to defend the country with advanced technology and joint operations.
