Infosys Opens New Development Center in Nagpur
The world leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, Infosys, announced today the opening of a brand-new, cutting-edge development center (DC) at the Mihan-SEZ in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This facility, which spans 265,000 square feet and was developed by Infosys for around INR 230 crore, would allow employees to work in a hybrid mode with more flexibility and facilitate the re-skilling and up-skilling of local talent.
Employees will be able to work on next-generation technologies like cloud, AI, and digital across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, banking, retail, aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, and finance.
The DC is in line with Infosys' future-ready hybrid workplace concept and will house over 3,000 workers. Additionally, the office adheres to the strictest regulations for occupant efficiency and health in accordance with Infosys' ESG commitments and green building requirements.
It also makes use of cutting-edge technologies to minimize its usage of energy, water, and other natural resources. The campus enables 100% wastewater recycling, smart building automation, effective rainwater harvesting, and low-energy cooling.
