Jamtha Stadium Set for India-England ODI as Teams Arrive in Nagpur
Nagpur, India: Nagpur welcomed the stars of Indian cricket on Sunday night as the team arrived for the first One-Day International (ODI) against England. The match, part of a three-game series, will be held at VCA’s Jamtha Stadium on February 6.
Superstars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja, along with Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, landed in the city on different flights. The remaining Indian players, along with the England team and support staff, are expected to arrive by Monday evening.
India recently secured a commanding 4-1 victory over England in the Twenty20 International (T20I) series, sealing the win with an emphatic performance in the final match in Mumbai on Sunday night.
Players who were not part of the T20I squad and arrived in Nagpur on Sunday are expected to begin practice sessions on Monday in preparation for the ODI series.
