Kapil Nagar Police Return Mobile Phones Worth Rs 3 Lakh to Owners
Nagpur, India- The Kapil Nagar police have successfully traced and returned 15 lost mobile phones worth Rs 3 lakh to their rightful owners on Thursday. Between January 2024 and April 2024, the police received complaints from 174 citizens about their lost or stolen cell phones.
The police team utilized subscriber details records (SDR), call data records (CDR), and IMEI numbers to trace the lost phones. This success follows a previous effort where the police traced and returned 152 mobile phones to their original owners between 2023 and 2024.
The operation was conducted by senior PI Ajay Aakre, WHC Gauri Hedau, PC Sachin Tangle (Zone-5 office), and PC Ashish Piparhete (PS Kalamna), under the supervision of DCP (Zone-V) Niketan Kadam and ACP Jaripatka Division Santosh Khandekar.
