Kinnar Attacked TTE in Nagpur-Gondia Railway Station Raises Security Concerns

Nagpur, India: A terrifying incident unfolded on the Nagpur-Gondia railway station when a group of Kinnar (eunuchs) launched a deadly attack on a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) for enforcing ticket regulations. The shocking event took place on Monday afternoon at Gondia station. The TTE was targeted after he imposed fines on eunuchs traveling without tickets.

As the 12106 Vidarbha Express was stationed at Platform No. 5, a group of 10-15 eunuchs aggressively pursued the TTE. Fearing for his life, the TTE sought refuge in the toilet of an air-conditioned coach, but the attackers followed him, threatening to break down the door.

Sources indicate that the assault occurred due to the TTE's routine checks and fines imposed on the eunuchs for ticketless travel, raising serious concerns about the security of railway staff and passengers.
