Kuwait Airways Sends Boeing 777 in Nagpur for 32-Day Maintenance Work

Nagpur, India: Kuwait Airways has sent its first Boeing 777 aircraft to Nagpur for maintenance as part of its agreement with AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL). The aircraft arrived on Friday and will undergo a ‘C’ check, a routine but detailed maintenance procedure, which will take about 32 days to complete.
This is not the first time Kuwait Airways has used AIESL’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. Last year, five aircraft were successfully serviced here, and the airline has once again chosen Nagpur for its maintenance needs. In total, seven aircraft will be serviced under this agreement.
Nagpur’s MRO facility, located in MIHAN-SEZ, is the first of its kind in the region and has a skilled team of engineers and technicians, including 12 women employees. These professionals are responsible for maintaining large aircraft, which can carry up to 300 passengers.
Sanjay Dwivedi, General Manager of AIESL MRO, expressed confidence in his team’s work. “We have built trust with international airlines through our service, and we aim to maintain that trust. Our team is dedicated to completing all maintenance work on time with high quality,” he said.
