Maha Metro & NMC Boost Last-Mile Connectivity with New Feeder Route
Nagpur, India: Good news for students and faculty of Saint Vincent Pallotti College of Technology and Engineering! From April 1, 2025, Maha Metro Nagpur and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will start a new feeder bus service to the college on Wardha Road.
This decision came after a special Metro Samwad event at the college, where over 400 students and 35 faculty members shared their transport needs. To help students use public transport easily, a special enrolment camp was held, where 15 faculty members and 38 students bought the Maha Card and City Bus Pass on the first day itself.
To make travel affordable, Maha Metro is offering a 30% discount on metro rides with the Maha Card. NMC is also giving a 72% discount on a three-month bus pass for students.
This feeder service will help reduce traffic and pollution, making public transport a better option for students. It follows the successful launch of feeder services for MIHAN and Symbiosis International University, bringing Nagpur closer to a smart and eco-friendly transport system.
