Maha Metro New Initiative: Library Now in Chitar Oli Metro Station

Nagpur, India- Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has opened a book corner at Chitar Oli Metro Station on Central Avenue. This is the second book corner on the Nagpur Metro, following the successful one at the Airport Metro Station, popular with senior citizens. The Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh (VSS) oversees this initiative.
The library has books about famous personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, and other literature.
The Santi Ganeshutav Mandal will take care of the book corner at Chitar Oli Station. This initiative aims to engage more with the community. Since the station is in a busy market area with little open space, the book corner provides a quiet place for people to relax.
The book corner at Chitar Oli Station is open from 8 AM to 7 PM. MahaMetro also encourages citizens to visit Metro Bhavan, opposite Deekshabhoomi, to see an exhibition for students in the basement.
