Maharashtra Budget Session to Begin on March 3, Budget on March 10

India: The Budget Session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will begin on March 3, with the Budget set to be presented on March 10, an official announced on February 23.
The Business Advisory Committee of the Legislative Assembly and Council met at Vidhan Bhawan in Mumbai to discuss the proceedings of the upcoming session.
The meeting was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde, Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil, along with several other ministers and MLAs.
According to a government statement, the Budget Session will begin on March 3 and conclude on March 26. Legislative work will take place on March 8, despite it being a public holiday, while March 13 will be a holiday for the Holi festival.
