Maharashtra Student Paraglides to College to Avoid Traffic and Reach Exam on Time

Satara: A student from Maharashtra’s Satara district took an unusual route to reach his exam centre—he paraglided to college! The video of his daring stunt has now gone viral on social media.
Samarth Mahangade, a student from Pasarani village in Wai Taluka, was stuck in heavy traffic on the way to his exam. Worried that he might not make it on time, he decided to take to the skies instead.
The viral video shows Samarth flying with his college bag before landing safely near his exam centre. He was fully dressed in paragliding gear, leaving everyone surprised.
Reports say that Samarth was in Panchgani for personal work when he realised he would be late due to traffic on the Wai-Panchgani road. Adventure sports expert Govind Yewale and his team from GP Adventure in Panchgani helped him arrange the flight.
The video was first shared on Instagram by a user named ‘Insta_Satara’ and quickly became popular. Many people praised Samarth’s smart thinking, while others made jokes about his unique way of avoiding traffic.
Satara is known for its beautiful landscapes and paragliding activities, but using it as a way to reach an exam is definitely a first!
