Man abuses women sexually under the guise of marriage
Under the purview of the Hudkeshwar police station, a case has surfaced concerning a young man who, while supposedly calling the beautician to his house for makeup, is accused of continuously raping her for more than a year.
The concerned party, identified as 31-year-old Mohit Sanjay Pande, dwells in Santoshi Mata Nagar, Pipla. On September 24, 2022, the victim—who is also 31 years old—was lured to his home pretending to be a cosmetics artist for a bride. When she arrived, Mohit told her his family was shopping and asked if she might have a cup of tea with him.
The offender pursued the victim, promising to marry her and give her money, while she was on her way to the police station to file a report. In addition, he made threats to stab her to death. She started to worry about such an act when her spouse called her at this point. She went back to her house.
Mohit visited her house once more on October 3, 2022. He made the video viral and threatened to kill the kids, but after being forced to comply, he promised to take care of them.
He tricked her by saying he was into real estate and working out. In addition, he threatened to tell her spouse if she refused. She broke up with her husband's wife as soon as she learned of these actions.
Then, on April 16, 2023, the victim moved in with Mohit. He demanded ₹45,000 from her and asked for a divorce after she persisted in wanting to be married. She filed for divorce from her spouse under duress. She got pregnant in the interim, and Mohit then turned down her proposal of marriage. He mistreated her and pushed that she get an abortion.
The victim thereafter filed a complaint with the police station at Hudekeshwar. When Mohit learned about it, he ran away. The authorities have filed a rape case against him.
