Man Arrested for Obscene Act Near Central Jail Faces Fresh Charges

Nagpur, India: Nagpur police have registered a second FIR against Shant Kumar, a former kitchen manager of a five-star hotel, for allegedly engaging in obscene acts targeting women.
Kumar, originally from Karnataka, was first arrested on Sunday after a video surfaced showing him behaving inappropriately near a jogging track close to Central Jail on Wardha Road. In the footage, he was seen engaging in an obscene act while talking on the phone and watching a woman sitting nearby.
Following his arrest, five female employees from a pharmaceutical company in the MIHAN area came forward with similar complaints, leading to the second FIR at Beltarodi Police Station.
The public questions, "What if he had lost control and attempted to assault the woman sexually present at the scene?"
Police suspect Kumar may have been involved in such behaviour on multiple occasions. Further investigations are underway to identify more potential victims and gather additional evidence.
