Man Arrested for Raping 5-Year-Old Girl in Chikhaldara
Vidarbha, Chikhaldara: A 60-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl in a village in Chikhaldara tehsil on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred while the girl was home alone, as her parents were at work. The accused, Tukaram Babulal Javarkar, reportedly took advantage of the situation to commit the crime.
When her parents returned home, the girl told them what had happened. Shocked and worried, they quickly went to the Chikhaldara Police Station to file a complaint. After receiving initial medical care, the girl was taken to the Sub-district Hospital in Achalpur for further treatment.
Police have arrested Javarkar, and an investigation is underway to ensure justice for the young victim and to improve safety in the community.
