Man Attempts Suicide After Wife Refuses Meeting With Son
Nagpur, India: A 30-year-old man from Savitribai Phule Nagar tried to take his own life on Tuesday after his wife refused to let him see their three-year-old son.
The man, Amol Lakhote, is a mini-truck driver. Police said his wife left home three days ago after a fight. Amol became upset and repeatedly asked her to let him meet their son, but she didn’t respond.
On Tuesday morning, Amol tried to hang himself. Neighbours and relatives saw him in time and saved him. They took him to Ajni Police Station, and the police sent him to Government Medical College and Hospital. He is now stable.
This is the second time Amol has attempted suicide because of family problems. Police are investigating the case.
