Man Under Expulsion Order Detained in Jaripatka
Nagpur, India: Zaripatka police apprehended an individual who was found violating an expulsion order. The arrest occurred around 1:00 AM when a police patrol team was conducting routine surveillance in the area.
The suspect, identified as Gorelal Munna Uike, age 30, and residing near Rakesh Kirana at Barakholi, Zaripatka, Nagpur, was seen fleeing from the police. After a brief chase, he was taken into custody. During questioning, Uike disclosed his identity and address.
A background check revealed that Uike had been expelled from Nagpur city and rural areas for six months, as per an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Division 5, on October 5, 2024. The expulsion order prohibited him from entering the city and surrounding areas.
The police complaint was filed by Inspector Umesh Sambhare, leading to the registration of a case under Section 142 of the M.P.O.C.A. (Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act). Police Sub-Inspector Khomane has made the arrest, and further investigations are underway.
