Masked Gunmen Hijack and Loot Passengers on Nagpur-Raipur Bus
Nagpur/Raipur: A private bus travelling from Nagpur to Raipur became the target of an armed robbery, where masked criminals looted passengers at gunpoint. The incident occurred shortly after the bus left Nagpur, with most victims being workers returning home.
According to reports, the bus, operated by Jagirdar Travels, was on its way to Bilaspur. Around 11 AM on Monday, the bus departed with several passengers. A few hours into the journey, four masked men intercepted the vehicle, forcibly boarded it, and threatened passengers with firearms.
The robbers targeted mostly migrant workers travelling from Hyderabad, stealing their cash and valuables. Some passengers were also physically assaulted during the incident.
The shocking crime took place on Monday night in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The affected passengers filed a complaint with the local police, and an investigation has been launched to identify and catch the culprits. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to ensure justice is served.
