Massive Raid on Liquor Party: 28 Criminals Arrested by Police
The Nagpur Police conducted a raid on a liquor and hookah party being hosted at a lawn in Kalmana, resulting in the arrest of 28 criminals. The police's swift action led to the seizure of valuables worth Rs 1.60 crore from the premises. The raid occurred on July 23 when Ashish Kubde, also known as Boma, organized a birthday celebration at Riwaj Lawn in Chikhli Chowk. The event saw the attendance of several bookies, known criminals, and influential individuals from the city.
Acting on valuable tips received, the police decided to interfere and arrest those involved in the illicit gathering. The raid was executed around 12:30 pm with a strong force of law enforcement officers swooping down on the venue. During the operation, some of the criminals present at the party attempted to escape, but the police managed to block their efforts and bring them into custody. The entire operation was carried out with precision and determination to maintain law and order in the region.
The police not only apprehended the individuals participating in the unlawful gathering but also seized valuable items worth Rs 1.60 crore from the scene. The recovered assets are believed to be linked to illegal activities and may play a crucial role in ongoing investigations.
