Nagpur, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Nagpur on March 30 to perform the bhoomipujan of Madhav Netralaya near Vasudev Nagar Metro Station on the Aqua Line route. To manage the expected crowd and ensure smooth travel, Maha Metro has decided to increase metro services on this route.

Metro trains will run every 8 minutes from 8 am to 2 pm on both up and down lines. Many citizens had requested more metro trips on the day of the event. Considering the rising heat and public convenience, Maha Metro has made these changes to make travel easier.

The Aqua Line route goes from Prajapati Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar and covers important stations like Vaishno Devi Chowk, Ambedkar Chowk, Nagpur Railway Station, Sitabuldi Interchange, Shankar Nagar Chowk, Vasudev Nagar, and Bansi Nagar.

Maha Metro has also requested citizens to use metro services to avoid traffic jams and ensure a hassle-free journey, especially with tight security during the Prime Minister’s visit.
