Moneylender Sagar Doshi Accused of Extorting Rs 26 Lakh, Seizing Land
Nagpur, India- Ambazari Police have charged unauthorized moneylender Sagar Jayendrakumar Doshi with extortion and property grabbing. Doshi is accused of extorting large sums from Manoj Gopal Naidu and illegally transferring Naidu's agricultural land in Selu, Wardha, into his name.
Naidu, 57, from Plot No 160, Tikekar Road, Dhantoli, reported borrowing Rs 12 lakh from Doshi, 38, a resident of Suraksha Apartment, Bharat Nagar, Beltarodi, between 2016 and 2020, at a 10% monthly interest rate. He also threatened Naidu and his family, attempting to take over their home in Dhantoli.
The police case follows previous allegations against Doshi, who has a history of extortion and property seizures, including incidents involving Kaustubh Purshottam Ashtikar and Sanjay Khandekar, where he posed as a chartered accountant and finance broker.
