Mumbai City FC and Etihad Airways ink historic sponsorship agreement
After reaching a multi-year agreement to sponsor Mumbai City FC beginning in the 2024–25 season, Etihad Airways became the team's official sponsor.
With two Indian Super League championships and two Indian Super League Cups under their belt, Mumbai City is known as one of the best professional sports clubs in India. Etihad's ongoing dedication to the Indian market is demonstrated by this decision.
The agreement, which sets a record for Indian football in terms of length, falls in conjunction with Etihad Airways' 20th anniversary of flights to India. Starting in the 2024–25 season, the Etihad Airways logo will be prominently displayed on the front of Mumbai City FC's youth and first team match shirts as well as their training kits.
The collaboration strengthens the long-standing ties between the two organizations' home nations and upholds the ideals of excellence and teamwork.
This month, Etihad will commemorate 20 years of service to India. As part of its ongoing commitment to expanding in India, the airline will begin operating an A380 between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi on September 1.
