Nagpur, India: On Monday, Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, conducted a thorough inspection of sanitation work in the Laxmi Nagar and Dharampeth zones. During the visit, he emphasized the need for improved sanitation practices and directed Deputy Commissioners Milind Meshram and Prakash Varade to address issues of absenteeism among sanitation workers.

Dr. Chaudhari reviewed the attendance records of sanitation employees and ordered the issuance of show cause notices to those who were absent without prior notification. He inspected various locations including Aath Rasta Chowk, RS Convent, and Bajaj Nagar, and stressed that no piles of garbage should be visible in these areas.

The Municipal Commissioner instructed that all waste should be transported directly to the Bhandewadi dumping yard using compactors. He warned contractors to adhere to this directive to ensure efficient waste management.
