Murder Case in Ambazari: Three Arrested for Brutal Killing with Cement
Nagpur: A shocking murder took place in Sudam Nagri, Pandhrabodi, on the night of September 30, 2024, between 10:30 and 11:30 PM. A 27-year-old man named Sagar Nakul Nagle, also known as Tuna, was brutally killed by three men who hit him on the head with a cement block.
Victim Identified:Sagar Nakul Nagle (Tuna), 27 years old, resident of Khobragade Kirana Shop, Sudam Nagri. Accused in Custody: Veer Vinod Thapa, 18, laborer; Ajit Santan Netam, 26, painter; Suresh Manohar Yadav, 25, laborer, All three suspects, residents of Sudam Nagri, are now in police custody.
According to the police, the victim and the accused were drinking together when the situation turned deadly. Sagar allegedly made a remark about being involved with the cousin of one of the accused, Veer Thapa, which sparked the attack. In a fit of rage, Veer grabbed a cement block and hit Sagar on the head. The other two suspects, Ajit and Suresh, joined in, repeatedly hitting the victim until he died. The group fled the scene immediately after the murder.
The Ambazari Police arrived shortly after being informed of the crime. A forensic team was called to investigate the area, and the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem. Authorities have deployed additional police in the area, though the situation remains calm.
