Nagpur Chaos: Biker Arrested for Reckless 'Bang Bang' Stunt
In a bold and disruptive act, 19-year-old Prince Nageshwar Shukla set off a wave of panic and chaos in Nagpur as he executed a daring stunt on his modified KTM Duke bike outside the official residence of Commissioner of Police, Dr. Ravinder Singal.
Shukla, riding without a helmet and revving the engine to create explosive sounds resembling crackers, prompted swift action from Commissioner Singal. Traffic Police, under the Commissioner's orders, apprehended the audacious biker near Telangkhedi Lake and collected a fine of Rs 11,750 for violations of the Motor Vehicle Act.
The incident, which unfolded dangerously close to the Commissioner's residence, caused immediate alarm among residents and commuters. Witnesses reported widespread panic as the unconventional stunt disrupted traffic flow, raising concerns about public safety.
Responding promptly to Commissioner Singal's directive, the Traffic Police launched an operation to locate and detain Shukla. During the operation, the youth's high-speed riding further escalated the risk to public safety, but the Traffic Police successfully intercepted and arrested him.
Shukla, now in police custody, faces charges related to public disturbance, reckless driving, and any modifications made to the bike that violate road safety regulations. Commissioner Singal emphasized the significance of maintaining public safety and law and order in the city.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges posed by individuals engaging in attention-seeking and disruptive behaviors on city roads. The modified bike used in the stunt will undergo a detailed inspection to determine any illegal modifications, highlighting the need for stringent measures against such acts to ensure the well-being of city residents.
