Nagpur City to Experience Humid Weather Until May 26
Nagpur, India- The city has been experiencing humid weather due to a partly cloudy sky and intense heat, causing discomfort for residents over the past few days. On Monday, the combination of high temperatures and humidity made the weather particularly unbearable.
Typically, May is the driest month of the year, with relative humidity around 10-20%. However, this year, the upper atmosphere has a lot of moisture, pushing the relative humidity over 50% across Vidarbha.
On Monday, despite maximum temperatures staying below 40°C in Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Nagpur, the high humidity made the heat oppressive. Nagpur recorded a relative humidity of 60%, Gadchiroli 56%, and Gondia 63%, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The humid weather is expected to continue until May 26
