Nagpur Congress Leaders Jichkar, Wankhede Involved in Public Fight
Nagpur, India: A heated altercation between two Congress leaders, Narendra Jichkar and Deepak Wankhede, turned into a physical confrontation during a Navratri event in West Nagpur's Surendra Gad area. The argument, which broke out over a microphone, quickly raised as supporters from both sides got involved, and the incident has since gone viral on social media.
The clash occurred when Jichkar began speaking about his contributions at the event. Wankhede interrupted him, arguing that the occasion was not political, and attempted to take the microphone. Jichkar’s supporters immediately objected, leading to a tense exchange. Wankhede’s refusal to hand over the microphone intensified the situation, resulting in a brawl as both leaders' supporters tried to take control of the mic.
The rivalry between Jichkar and Wankhede has grown more intense, especially as Jichkar is preparing to contest the West Nagpur Assembly seat. This further fuels the animosity between the two leaders.
