Nagpur Crime Branch Busts Illegal Hookah Parlour at Tamasha Lounge in Ram Nagar

Nagpur, India: The Crime Branch Unit 2 raided Tamasha Lounge in Ramnagar on Monday night, uncovering an illegal hookah parlour operating under Ambazari police station limits.
The raid, conducted around 10:00 PM, led to the arrest of Brijesh Badri Prasad Pal (33), a resident of WCL Quarters, Saoner. He was found supplying banned tobacco-laced hookah to customers. Police seized hookah-related items worth ₹19,350 during the operation.
A case has been registered at Ambazari Police Station under Section 223 of BNS and Sections 4(A) and 21(A) of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 (Maharashtra Amendment Act, 2018).
The raid was conducted under the direction of Commissioner of Police Ravinder Kumar Singal, Joint Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli, Additional CP (Crime) Sanjay Patil, DCP (Detection) Rahul Makanikar, and ACP (Crime) Abhijit Patil. Senior PI Shubhangi Deshmukh and her team led the operation. The accused and confiscated materials have been handed over to Ambazari police for further investigation.
