Nagpur,Maharashtra: In a significant operation, the NDPS squad of the Crime Branch intercepted a car during routine patrols under the jurisdiction of Sonegaon Police Station and confiscated a large quantity of prohibited nylon manja. The operation also resulted in the arrest of one individual, identified as Sahil Thackeray.

The authorities seized items valued at approximately ₹7 lakh, which included nylon manja, a mobile phone, and the vehicle used in the transportation. This action forms part of a broader campaign by Nagpur police to eliminate the trade of banned nylon manja, known for its hazardous impact on both human safety and the environment.
