Nagpur, India: A leading journalist from a famous Nagpur news portal has faced a scam at the Bajaj Patni Chetak Service Centre after encountering multiple issues with vehicle service. The journalist took their scooter to the service centre for repairs, clearly mentioning the problems to be addressed. Upon completing the service, the centre charged the appropriate amount, but the same issues persisted after the vehicle was returned.
When the journalist returned to the service centre, it was revealed that the disc pad, which was mentioned in the bill and job card, had not been installed. The mechanic admitted to the mistake. The journalist warned others to be cautious, highlighting that the service centre was listing parts in the bill but failing to install them.
The journalist urges customers to thoroughly check their vehicles before taking them back from service centres to avoid such fraudulent practices.
