Nagpur Man Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Minor After Luring with Chocolates
Nagpur, India: A 35-year-old man named Praveen alias Sada Vitthal Nerkar has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a nine-year-old boy. The incident happened on Monday afternoon when the boy was playing outside his house.
Police say that Nerkar tricked the boy into coming to his home by saying he would give him chocolates. Once there, he is accused of assaulting the boy and then threatened him not to tell anyone.
Feeling scared and upset, the boy returned home and told his parents what happened. They immediately went to the Kotwali Police Station to report the incident.
The police have filed a case against Nerkar and are now searching for him. They are asking anyone with information to help them in their investigation.
