Nagpur Metro Enhances Passenger Convenience with New Toilet Seva App
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has introduced a new mobile app, Toilet Seva, aimed at improving the commuter experience on Nagpur Metro. The app helps passengers easily locate toilets at metro stations, particularly in large and complex stations where layouts can be challenging to navigate.
Developed by Amol Bhange, an IT engineer based in the United States, the app is designed for everyone, including men, women, elderly passengers, and Divyang (differently-abled) individuals. In addition to finding toilets, the app allows users to report issues such as non-functional taps or cleanliness problems directly to the maintenance teams responsible for station facilities.
The app is also part of MMRCL's Swachh Toilet initiative, aimed at ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of station toilets. Users who submit complaints will receive confirmation and updates on the status of their complaints.
The app is available for free download on the Google Play Store, providing easy access for metro commuters to enhance their travel experience.
