Nagpur Police Arrest Man for Snatching ₹700 from Auto Drivers
Nagpur, India: A 25-year-old man has been arrested for snatching cash from two auto drivers near Mahadula T-Point. The accused, Aslam Ayub Khan (25), and his accomplice Maddak (27), both residents of Mahadula, Koradi, targeted the drivers and fled after taking their money. While Khan has been caught, Maddak is still on the run.
The incident took place on Monday, February 17, around 10:30 am. Auto drivers Amit Prakash Tandekar (24) from Pipla Dak Bungalow, Saoner, and another driver, Musa, were waiting for passengers when the two accused arrived on a two-wheeler. They demanded money, and when the drivers refused, they forcibly took ₹450 from Amit and ₹250 from Musa before escaping.
The police have launched a search operation to track down Maddak. Further investigations are underway.
