Nagpur Police Arrests Three in Fake Zudio Franchise Scam

In a significant breakthrough, the Nagpur City Police Cyber Cell has apprehended three individuals involved in a fraudulent scheme that duped a local resident out of Rs. 20,35,500. The arrested individuals are identified as Ganesh Saryug Pasvan, Raviranjan Kumar Yogendra Pasvan, and Rohit Kumar Sahdev Pasvan, all from Nalanda, Bihar.

The scam came to light when the victim, who had expressed interest in acquiring a franchise of the popular clothing brand Zudio, was tricked into paying the substantial sum through a fake email correspondence. Through diligent investigation and tracking, the team was able to trace the suspects to Nalanda, Bihar. The successful operation culminated in the arrest of the three accused on July 26, 2024.
