Nagpur Police Bust Vehicle Theft Gang, Recover 5 Stolen Two-Wheelers

Nagpur, India: Sitabuldi police have caught a vehicle theft gang and recovered five stolen two-wheelers. A minor and his accomplice have been arrested, while two other members of the gang are still missing. Police are searching for them.
The case started when an Activa scooter belonging to Akshad Kishore Shelare was stolen from the Sitabuldi area on 26th November. During police patrol near Maharajbagh, officers stopped a minor boy riding a moped without a number plate. When questioned, he revealed that the vehicle was given to him by a man named Kunal Bane.
Police then detained Kunal Bane, who admitted to stealing 25 two-wheelers from areas like Ajni, Lakadganj, Saoner, and Sitabuldi. So far, five vehicles have been recovered, and police are working to find the others.
Investigations also revealed that the minor and two other accomplices were involved in a theft in Saoner. Police are now looking into other possible crimes linked to the gang.
