Nagpur Police Busted Massage Center, Uncover Sex Racket; 4 Women Rescued

Nagpur, India: A sex racket operating under the cover of a massage centre was busted by the Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Crime Branch on Saturday, January 4. The raid, led by Police Inspector Kavita Isarkar, took place at Ganga Spa, located on the first floor of Nitin Bichayat Kendra, Somalwada Square, Wardha Road.

The accused, Naveen Bhagwan Singh (37) and his wife Vandana alias Shruti Singh (28), residents of Amar Nagar, Jagtap Layout, MIDC, Nagpur, were allegedly running the illegal operation. Police revealed that the couple lured women into prostitution by promising them lucrative earnings.

During the operation, four women who had been forced into the racket were rescued. Items worth ₹58,090 were also seized from the premises.

A case has been filed against the accused under Sections 143 and 3(5) of the BNS Act and Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. Further investigations are underway.
