Nagpur Police Conduct Raids, Seize Property in Gambling and Prohibition Cases
Nagpur, India- On July 29, 2024, the Nagpur City Police, under the jurisdiction of various police stations, took action in 10 cases, including 7 cases under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act and 3 cases under the NDPS Act. A total of 10 individuals were acted upon, and property worth ₹7,351/- was seized. Additionally, in one case under the Gambling Act, action was taken against one individual, and property worth ₹520/- was seized. The traffic police, under the Motor Vehicles Act, took action against a total of 2,386 vehicle drivers, collecting a total of ₹3,39,800/- in fines.
All these campaigns were collectively carried out by the Nagpur City Police, and further effective actions will continue to be taken. Citizens are urged to follow traffic rules while driving and keep all necessary vehicle documents.
