Nagpur: Nagpur Traffic Police have taken strict action against a group of youths caught performing dangerous stunts on a moving car for social media videos. Led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Archit Chandak, the department has warned against reckless driving and stunt performances on the road.
The accused, who claimed to be social media influencers, were seen hanging out of a moving car (MH/03/BH/7990) while filming their act. Their video quickly went viral, alerting traffic police officers who swiftly tracked them down and registered cases under the Motor Vehicles Act.
Police revealed that some of these individuals had been warned before for posting objectionable content, including videos with foul language. Despite prior warnings, they continued to engage in risky and illegal activities for social media attention.
Nagpur Traffic Police have clarified that such behavior will not be tolerated. They have urged citizens to follow traffic rules and act responsibly, reminding everyone that road safety is more important than social media fame.
