Nagpur Police Launch Campaign to Fight Drug Addiction and Promote Healthy Living

Nagpur, India: Nagpur city police, under the leadership of Police Commissioner Ravinder Singal, have launched the ‘Let's Come Together and Make a Drug-Free Nagpur’ campaign to fight drug addiction and encourage a healthier lifestyle. The initiative, in collaboration with NGOs like Priyadarshini Samrat Ashok Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, Mitra Mandal Parivar, and Nuri Mahfil Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, aims to raise awareness and engage the youth in positive activities.

Two main events will be held at Rambagh Housing Colony Maidan, Imambada, as part of the campaign. A volleyball tournament will kick off on February 16 at 6 pm, followed by a public awareness meeting on February 17 at 6 pm. The meeting will educate citizens about the dangers of drug addiction and ways to address the issue.

Senior police officers, social workers, and individuals who have successfully recovered from addiction will speak at the event, offering support and guidance to those looking to break free from addiction. The campaign encourages all citizens to join in the effort to make Nagpur a drug-free city.
