Nagpur Railway Stations to Get Modern Facilities Under Amrit Bharat Plan
The Nagpur Division of Central Railway is planning major upgrades to several railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This scheme aims to improve station facilities and make travel more comfortable for passengers.
The stations that will be upgraded include Ghoradongri, Betul, Amla, Junnardeo, Multai, Pandhurna, Narkhed, Katol, Godhni, Sevagram, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon, Hinganghat, Chandrapur, and Balharshah.
The upgrades will include:

Better Station Access: Roads will be widened, obstructions removed, and better signs will be put up for easier entry and exit.

Larger Waiting Areas: More space will be created to reduce crowding and make it easier to move around.

Modern Waiting Halls and Toilets: Waiting areas and restrooms will be upgraded for more comfort.

Lifts and Escalators: These will help people with disabilities, senior citizens, and those carrying heavy luggage.
