Nagpur to Get Rs. 30 Crore Sports Project in Timki Area, Thanks to Praveen Datke's
Nagpur, India: In a significant development aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Nagpur's residents, particularly in central Nagpur, Praveen Datke has successfully secured approval for a major infrastructure project. Recognizing the need for accessible sports and fitness amenities, Datke spearheaded efforts to bring high-quality facilities closer to the community.
Previously, residents, including students and citizens from densely populated areas like Madhya Nagpur, had to travel across the city for adequate sports and exercise options. Datke engaged at the government level to address this gap, convening discussions with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Sports Minister Ajit Pawar.
As a result of these efforts, plans have been finalized for a state-of-the-art swimming pool and indoor stadium at the Hindi Primary School grounds in Ward No. 8 Timki, Hansapuri. The project, valued at Rs. 30 crores, promises to deliver modern amenities such as an elevated track, walking paths, tennis courts, and a fully equipped gymnasium.
Expressing gratitude for the support received, Datke urged the youth of central Nagpur to utilize these facilities to foster a healthier and more active lifestyle. He extended special thanks to Chief Minister Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawar for their crucial role in realizing this initiative.
